The South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) with effect from 19th December 2024, has authorized/appointed JASMIN/TUV Accredited company to conduct Pre - Export Verification of Conformity (PvOC) Program and issue Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for imported goods designated to the Republic of South Sudan in the country of origin.
The Conformity Programme is intended to substantially reduce hazardous and substandard imported products into the country, it is also meant to ensure that all goods intended to be imported to the Republic of South Sudan be verified from their country of origin prior to shipment, upon satisfactory verification, Certificate of Conformity will be issued for custom clearance on arrival at all entry points to the Republic of South Sudan.
This is in line with the provision of the National Bureau of Standards act (2012), Chapter (1), section 5 (2-c-d) and section 8 (1,e), and section 9 (j, k).

Shipping Documents
Test Report/Laboratory Report/ Analysis Report
Certificate of Origin
Inspection photos or Report for the intended products
Bank remittance receipt
We inform all the clearing agents, forwarding Agents, NGOS, Importers and Exporters, Transportation and Shipping lines, Logistic companies to comply and Contact JASMIN - TUV AUSTRIA for the provision of the Certificate of Conformity for the imported goods to be imported into the Republic of South Sudan.
Failure to comply, a penalty fee of 20% CIF Value of the Invoice Value will be charged by South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) at all entry and border points and Juba international Airports for all Cargo without a Certificate of Conformity.
